Rural Influencing, Advocacy including Rural Forums and Village Voices, Rural Seminars and Summits
TVRCC provides rural representation to a number of organisations such as Redcar and Cleveland Local Strategic Board and uses this opportunity to highlight rural issues within these types of arenas.
We help set up, assisted by a small group of community representatives from across the rural areas of each borough and continue to support several Rural Forums. These Forums aim to bring together people from these communities to explore how your rural concerns and priorities are taken into account, address rural issues and look at ways in which the Local Strategic Partnerships and similar organisations can assist in this.
We hold an annual Rural Summit which highlights key rural issues and provides an opportunity to hear more about changes in national policy and how this will affect the rural communities of the Tees Valley.
