Parish & Community Led Planning
Communities everywhere are constantly changing and the Government wants local communities to take more control of their own lives, to say what they want doing in their own neighbourhoods. You cannot prevent change but you can influence it. A community led plan can help your community to make change happen and provide an opportunity for everyone in your community to make themselves heard. Community Led Plans enable communities across the country to take action for themselves to improve their quality of life.
A Community Plan is produced by and for the community.
It is:
- a shared vision for the whole community
- a chance for everyone to have their say
- a look at the future of the community
- about making links with organisations that can help
- part of a national movement
- supported by the Government
