East Cleveland Minibus Brokerage Project
This Project is led by TVRCC in partnership with Skinningrove Link Up, East Cleveland Community Transport, and the Northern Transport Hub, represented by Little Red Bus.
It is funded by LEADER, Redcar & Cleveland Partnership and ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England).
If you are resident in Redcar & Cleveland or the surrounding area, a member of a community group, or need accessible transport, this service could be the answer to your travel needs.
The Minibus Brokerage brings together individuals and groups who need safe, affordable transport with locally owned minibuses. The brokerage service provides residents with greater travel opportunities whilst earning increased revenue for minibus owner / operators by maximising usage of their vehicles.
It's a win win situation where the community benefits from increased travel opportunities - from a 'one stop shop' where bookings are taken and vehicles and drivers allocated - while usage of local minibuses is increased.
The project also offers minibus driver training (at East Cleveland CT in Loftus) to the nationally recognised MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) standard, and our current team of drivers are all qualified to ensure the comfort and safety of all passenger categories in fully accessible vehicles.
